Direct Supervisor:
Director of Human Resources

Job Summary: The Human Resources Clerk is responsible for completing designated duties assigned and providing clerical support for the Human Resources Department.
Essential Job Duties:
- Work with the HRIS to do file maintenance on incoming, current, and terminating employees
- Manage leaves – entering leave into the timekeeping system ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Assist with benefit management – medical, 401k, and other ancillary offerings
- File all paperwork processed through the HR Department in the appropriate EE file
- Assist with required leaves – FMLA, HFLL, including TDI, and WC
- Generates all packets, pamphlets, books or letters for HR managers – Offer, Orientation, and Term
- Mail out required mailings and as assigned
- Understand and abide by all company policies and procedures
Other Job Duties:
- Processes all referral check request and sends to appropriate associates
- Processes all required Cards – name (badge), Discount, and other cards as needed
- Compiles reports as needed such as vacancies, hire and term reports
- Processes and creates prints for special HR projects, HR forms etc…
- Any other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older to operate certain machinery in the office
- Must be able to safely lift 30-50 lbs unassisted
- Stand and sit for long periods of time

Work Hours and Work Conditions:

Qualifications / Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills with ability to effectively read, speak, and write in English
- Good interpersonal skills to handle customer service issues in person and on the phone
· Time Management – Ability to prioritize work, complete work on time
· Project Management – Ability to work through projects from start to finish
· Microsoft 365 – proficiency with all of the products
Compensation: Starting rate (as deemed by current pay schedule) or commensurate with experience.
