- Direct and complete assigned engineering designs using professional judgment.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to assign tasks and schedules to Project Engineers and project team members, answer questions, and monitor progress.
- Verify the accuracy of assigned tasks completed by other engineering and technical staff.
- Make major design decisions that meet client needs while coordinating the impact on related project efforts.
- Identify and address technical, schedule, or financial issues with Project Managers and/or clients as necessary.
- Assist clients in bidding or contractor selection if authorized.
- Monitor construction and supervise field personnel assigned to a task or project.
- Respond to contractor questions and prepare project addendums as needed.
- Recommend and prepare change orders.
- Participate in creating engineering services proposals.
- Communicate with clients on technical matters.
