We are seeking an experienced Corporate and Tax Paralegal to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic professional looking to play a key role in supporting our corporate and tax practice areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare personal and fiduciary income tax returns and assist in frequent communication with clients and tax preparers within the firm.
- Provide support in the management of the firm's income tax practice, ensuring efficient and accurate operations.
- Maintain and file corporate records including resolutions, board of director changes, annual reports, and meeting minutes.
- Facilitate the formation of new LLCs, corporations, and partnerships by filing incorporation documents, FinCEN reports, obtaining tax identification numbers, and preparing governing documents such as bylaws and operating agreements.
- Assist in supporting business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, asset and stock purchases, business formations, and dissolutions.
- Prepare and organize documents to support attorneys in real estate closings.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a paralegal with a focus on corporate and tax law.
- Strong understanding of tax preparation, corporate governance, and business transactions.
- Proficient in managing and organizing legal documents, filings, and client communications.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage a variety of responsibilities efficiently.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to reliably commute to Fort Washington, PA
- Notary preferred
