Do you have Quality leadership experience in a manufacturing environment? Are you interested in joining a team in an environment that is fast paced, rewarding and truly values its team members? Timpte is seeking a Quality Manager for our David City, Ne manufacturing facility. The Quality Manager will manage the efforts of the Quality team and Warranty team to supply consistent, reliable, structurally sound and visually appealing product and services to our customers. Also, manages activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for manufacturing processes, materials, and product lines. Establish a vision for next generation quality performance and partner across functional areas to drive it.
PAY for this position is $100-130k/year (depending upon experience) annual bonus and monthly bonus!!
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Lead the Quality Team, the Corrective Action Program, and other small groups through a root cause analysis process and focus on resolutions to quality issues to prevent reoccurrence.
- Develop, execute, and analyze reporting measures and report to management on quality issues, trends, and losses.
- Manage the process between Warranty and the Territory Sales Representatives to identify and rectify product/process problems identified through warranty claims.
- Drive to a culture of quality assurance – shifting the balance from finding quality defects to designed and built-in quality.
Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications:
- Must possess an Engineering or technical degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Quality Engineering or Quality Management.
- Must have experience working on cross functional teams and the ability to partner with adjacent functions to achieve our quality vision.
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written as well as presentation skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs; including Word, Excel, etc
- Must have an understanding of a wide range of production processes.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
