NOW HIRING: Park Maintenance – Part Time
JOB SUMMARY: The Park Maintenance employee is responsible for performing general park and facilities maintenance and cleanup. This includes mowing, as well as custodial and athletic field maintenance. The position is also responsible for snow removal, routine tasks, and projects.
LOCATION: TPPD Parks Maintenance Garage, 16801 S. 80th Ave., Tinley Park
QUALIFICATIONS: The qualified individual should be well motivated, reliable and organized, possessing good decision making and leadership skills. Basic knowledge of hand tools and small machinery a plus. Must be willing to work in various weather conditions and pass pre-employment physical and drug screening. A maintained clean, valid Driver’s License is required.
INCENTIVES: This is a year-round, part-time position, averaging 10-20 hours/week. Various shifts available with weekend availability preferred. Pay rate begins at $16.00 per hour and qualifies for a complementary membership to the Fitness Center, Recreation Center, Water Park and Dog Park.
