NOW HIRING: Park Maintenance - Seasonal
JOB SUMMARY: Seasonal Park Maintenance is responsible for performing general park and facilities maintenance and cleanup. This includes mowing, custodial, athletic field maintenance, routine tasks, and projects.
LOCATION: TPPD Park Maintenance Building, 16801 S, 80th Ave., Tinley Park, Illinois
QUALIFICATIONS: The qualified individual must be 18 years of age with a valid, clean driver’s license. This person should be well motivated, possessing good decision making and leadership skills. Basic knowledge of hand tools and small machinery a plus. Must be willing to work in various weather conditions. This summer seasonal position will work 40 hours a week, with a schedule of Monday through Friday 7:30am-3:30pm and one weekend day 7am-12pm, as decided by departmental need.
INCENTIVES: Pay rate is $15.00 per hour and qualifies for a complementary membership to the Fitness Center, Recreation Center and Water Park. Referral program eligible. This seasonal position may have an opportunity to continue as part-time (24 hours per week) during the Fall/Winter months.
