Role Overview
Tiny Blessings is looking for an experienced Inventory/Purchasing Manager to take full ownership of the company's purchasing and inventory operations. With numerous small jewelry components to oversee, this role requires exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. The right individual will bring their knowledge and expertise to the role, with a proactive approach to refine and optimize the inventory system. These contributions will play a vital part in maintaining our high product standards and ensuring our beautiful jewelry is always available to bring joy to our customers.
Comprehensive in-house training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Proficiently analyze sales data to forecast future demand.
- Regularly place purchase orders to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Monitor inventory levels and perform routine inventory audits.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships through clear and effective communication regarding all product needs, including style updates, order discrepancies, quality concerns, and more.
- Utilize knowledge and experience to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization within Tiny Blessings' inventory system and processes.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of our products and maintain a keen awareness of best sellers and critical inventory essentials.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in business or related field. (or equivalent in work experience)
- 3-5 years experience in inventory control and/or inventory management.
- 2-3 years experience in retail buying and/or purchasing.
- Drive to improve processes, applying a comprehensive understanding of inventory systems.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptionally organized.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional analytical & problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Comfort with detail-oriented tasks, such as sorting and tagging jewelry components.
Preferred Skills and Qualities:
- Experience in jewelry or adjacent industries.
- Experience managing 1000 SKUs.
- Experience in ecommerce.
- Experience with international vendor communication.
- Exceptionally reliable.
- Driven self-starter.
- Excellent problem solver.
- Capable of working independently and in a team environment.

- $33.00 - $39.00 per hour.
