Drive Fulfillment is looking for a competent Inventory Manager to monitor and report on the company’s inventory. The main responsibilities of this position include meeting inventory goals, managing tracking systems and acting as a liaison to other departments. The successful candidate will offer recommendations to ensure ideal levels of inventory in the warehouse and in stores. They possess great attention to detail and a business mindset. This position is important since the efficient handling of the inventory and supplies is critical for the attainment of business goals. Prospective candidates with extensive inventory control experience in a warehouse setting are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Works with GM and OM to direct Drive Fulfillment (DF) projects and programs, while maintaining the DF culture and standards.
  • Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures
  • Report to upper management on stock levels, issues etc
  • Use software to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory
  • Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory
  • Conduct daily analyses to forecast potential inventory issues
  • Report on inventory activities and variances
  • Assess new inventory to ensure it is ready for shipping or delivery
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices
  • Collaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met
  • Ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customers
  • Supervising Team Lead and Fulfillment Staff
  • Commitment to learning and practicing safe work methods
  • Able to work well with people
  • Defining and maintaining project workflow
  • Works with GM and OM on maintaining project work schedules and deadlines.
  • Acts as a liaison and primary point of contact for various contributing parties
  • Works with other DF Team Leaders to ensure they have what they need for daily fulfillment and operations.
  • Works with upper management on the implementation and development of new software, machinery and procedures for DF to continue to improve on current/future programs, SLA’s and customer service.
  • Ability to develop and share best practices across the shifts and network.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures.
  • Instilling these qualities into all team members and staff.

  • Daily reporting of production, inventory and backorders for all current/future projects and programs.

Requirements

  • 5 years’ experience in inventory, distribution and operational procedures
  • Proven experience as inventory manager or similar position
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
  • Working knowledge of inventory management software
  • Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports
  • The ability to multi-task and work independently
  • An analytical mind with strong math skills
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

Reliable and trustworthy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 per year
