Tiny Hands Enrichment Center, a reputable daycare facility committed to providing quality early childhood education, seeks a dedicated and certified Assistant Teacher to join our team. In order to meet the diverse needs of our children, we require applicants to hold certification through the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) and possess at least two years of experience in a daycare setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and educational activities.
- Create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and social development of children.
- Support the lead teacher in maintaining a well-organized, clean, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Foster positive relationships with parents, providing them with regular updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns.
- Collaborate with the lead teacher and other staff members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years of experience as a teacher in a daycare or early childhood education setting.
- Strong understanding of child development theories and practices.
- Proficient knowledge of early childhood curriculum and teaching methods.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff members.
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
- Ability to contribute positively to a team-oriented work environment.
- Adherence to all health, safety, and licensing regulations as mandated by state and local authorities.
Additional Qualifications:
- First Aid and CPR certifications are preferred.
- Proficiency in implementing developmentally appropriate practices and promoting inclusive education.

- Familiarity with diverse learning abilities and strategies to support individual needs.
- Understanding of emergency procedures and responses in a daycare environment.
