Preschool Teacher

Job Type: Full-Time (4 Days a Week) (10 Hour Days)

Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and creative Preschool Teacher to join our team at Tiny Scholars Daycare. The ideal candidate will work four days a week, with one day off. As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and explore.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize, and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development with a provided curriculum and materials.
• Create a safe, positive, and welcoming classroom atmosphere for children.
• Foster children’s curiosity, creativity, and independence through hands-on learning experiences.
• Provide individual attention and support to children as needed.
• Develop and maintain positive communication with parents regarding their child's progress.
• Observe and assess the development of each child, and create strategies to support their growth.
• Ensure the classroom and materials are kept clean, organized, and well-maintained.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.

Qualifications:

• Early Childhood Education degree or relevant certification OR EXPERIENCE (preferred).
• Previous experience working with preschool-age children.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. (required)
• A passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• First Aid and CPR certification (preferred, or willingness to obtain).
