Job Summary
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Infant and Toddler teachers and assistants to join the team at Tiny Sprouts Playhouse in Gales Ferry, CT. This role involves planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play while ensuring the safety and well-being of each child in the classroom.
Duties
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and creativity.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting respect and cooperation among children.
- Provide individualized attention to each child, addressing their unique needs and learning styles.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns regarding development or behavior.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom space conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with other team members to enhance the overall educational experience for children.
Skills
- Experience in toddler care or childcare settings, including daycare or nannying roles.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles to support age-appropriate learning activities.
- Ability to provide attentive caregiving.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and team members.
- Creative problem-solving abilities to address challenges in the classroom setting.
