Roofing Project Manager/Estimator

Position Overview:As a Project Manager / Estimator, you will take full ownership of the project lifecycle—from evaluating roofs and creating accurate, competitive estimates to overseeing crews, materials, and timelines through job completion. This is a boots-on-the-ground role that requires technical expertise, field experience, and strong project coordination skills.You’ll be the key point of contact for both customers and crews, ensuring every job meets company standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed roof inspections to assess condition, scope of work, and material needs
• Develop and deliver professional proposals and estimates based on inspection findings
• Maintain accurate documentation of all estimates, material orders, schedules, and customer communications
• Coordinate with crews and suppliers to ensure proper staffing, materials, and timing for each project
• Serve as the primary liaison between the customer, crew, and office throughout the project
• Track job progress, manage site quality, and resolve on-site issues in real-time
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in roofing project management, estimating, or field supervision
• Deep understanding of roofing systems, components, and industry best practices
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active job sites
• Excellent communication skills—both customer-facing and internal
• Ability to climb roofs and perform hands-on inspections as needed
• Proficiency with estimate generation tools, mobile tech, and job management software
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Based in or near Winston-Salem, NC
• Compensation & Benefits:
• $70,000.00 base salary
