Tire Rack is seeking an IT Business Analyst to support the Software Development team. At a high level, the Business Analyst serves as the bridge of communications between business stakeholders and IT development staff. This team member will be responsible for facilitating discussions among business users to understand current processes and need for change. The Analyst will also accurately document and communicate this need to the IT development staff to produce a workable solution.
Responsibilities:
- Elicit business requirements
- Create/maintain Business Requirement documents including functional design.
- Facilitate review of requirements with development and QA staff.
- Secure approval of functional design.
- Support the development and testing of deliverables.
- Assist with user acceptance testing plan.
- Document existing processes for other IT staff reference.
- Help facilitate a sound SDLC
- Produce reports to support business decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or Information Technology, preferred
- 3 years experience as a Business Analyst, or closely related role.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Moderate to advanced Excel skills
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Ability to work 8-5 EST
