Director of Product Security

Our Client is seeking a Director of Product Security based in Orange County, CA.

This is an onsite position (hybrid is possible) for US Citizens and Green Card holders. If you need visa sponsorship now or in the future, you are not eligible for the position.

The Client is open to people who will permanently relocate to the area.

This is a unique opportunity to join a well-established firm that is expanding rapidly and has a great path to promotion to vice president.

The ideal person will have:

A minimum of 3 years working in a Product Security Leadership role.

A strong technical background in a hands-on Product Security engineering position. With that in mind, a strong knowledge of the Secure Product Development Lifecycle (SPDL) is essential.

This person will have two teams reporting to them.

Some areas that these teams will focus on include ensuring secure code management, source code analysis, utilizing Software Composition Analysis on the current code base, and Incident Response for product vulnerabilities.

Strong written and verbal communication skills will be a must.

Salary dependent on experience: $180K to $250K.
