Bookkeeper - Part Time with option of Full Time - Responsible for providing accurate, up-to-date financial information for the organization by preparing accounts and documenting daily financial transactions. The position is an integral part of the organization's financial success and works to ensure the department meets standards of quality set forth by the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Performs data entry tasks in Quickbooks
- Reconciles financial statements
- Maintains financial business records
- Performs activities related to accounts payable and receivable
- Reconciles inventory and supplies
- Creates financial reports used for business purposes
- Works with accounting firm and provides needed information
- Performs other administrative and marketing assignments
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent, post-secondary education preferred
- 1 years bookkeeping experience
- Proficient with QuickBooks accounting program
- Skilled in computer and data entry
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and accounting functions
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Excel and Word
- Demonstrate accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
