Titan Florida LLC is looking for a motivated, innovative, Human Resources Intern who has demonstrated initiative in pursuing a career in Human Resources for our Deerfield Beach office. The Human Resources Intern will report to the HR Director and will provide professional HR support while learning about essential HR functions.
Responsibilities
- Accept designated, business-focused projects to research, propose ideas and potential solutions
- Assist with recruitment efforts, including opening requisitions and participating in the candidate interview and selection process to learn more about best industry practices
- Assist in the onboarding process to include new hire orientations, onboarding paperwork, etc.
- Maintain employee records, assuring compliance
- Accurately report and track candidate data as requested
- Perform weekly and monthly reporting of HR-related data
- Perform human resources ad hoc projects and administrative tasks as assigned
This position's work schedule will be flexible to accommodate school needs, ideally between 25-29 hours.
Qualifications
- Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in HR Management, Business Management or other related degree
- Knowledge of applicant tracking system is preferred
- Must have an understanding of fundamental HR concepts and employment laws
- Strong interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
- End user expertise with MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)
- Self-motivated and self‐directed
- Results‐oriented and driven
- Team oriented
- Strong customer service skills/customer focus
- Confidentiality
- Bilingual (English/Spanish), is a plus
