Titan Florida has an opening for a Regional Credit Manager, located in the Deerfield Beach office. This salary exempt position reports to the Director of Credit and is primarily responsible for opening accounts, collecting and managing accounts receivable and ensuring that credit sales comply with Titan Florida’s credit policy.
Responsibilities
• Review accounts receivable on a daily basis to ensure that customers are paying according to terms, timeliness of Notice to Owners, filing of Claim of Liens and bond claims• Approves or declines new credit applications based upon appropriate credit investigation• Visits customers on-site to collect amounts due, review financial statements, and discuss their credit needs• Meets with executives, sales and general managers to discuss accounts, collections and credit policy• Communicates to employees on the credit policy and notifies appropriate management of issues concerning the credit policy• Responds to customers inquiries regarding their account and reconciles account questions• Participates in local and national trade associations to update the department on new trade information and new laws pertaining to credit• Supervises and develops support staff and to ensure operational policies and procedures excellence
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in Business, or related field and 1-5 years of job related prior experience• Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals, financial reports and legal documents as necessary • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedural manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups and supervisors, customers and the general public• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and thoughts to management• Mathematical Skills: ability to apply moderately complex mathematical equations, including statistical analysis, as applicable • Reasoning Skills: ability to define problems collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions• General knowledge of Florida Construction Lien and Bond Laws• General knowledge of accounting and finance• Intermediate computer skills; including ERP and Microsoft Office
