Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed Fire extinguisher tech to join our team, portable or fixed fire extinguishers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing lasting relationships with businesses. This role requires an outgoing personality and the ability to communicate well with people. The Fire Extinguisher Tech will work closely with businesses to ensure compliance with state regulations and standards. We are based in Murfreesboro but we service the entire state of Tennessee. You will be free to make your own schedule and pick the area and businesses you want to go. You will also be required to drive your own vehicle. This is a commission only position so the more you sell the more you make. Commission structure is 60% of the subtotal on PAID invoices with 5% bump after 6 months and another 5% in another 6 months for a total of 70%.
Duties
- Conduct inspections of fire extinguishers and kitchen hood systems to ensure fire safety compliance.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools
- Help customers understand importance of keeping fire safety equipment certified and up to date
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulations regarding fire safety.
- Build strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Requirements
- Must be licensed in TN with portable or fixed fire extinguishers.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other relevant equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
