Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and dependable Locksmith to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills and great attention to detail to ensure the security and functionality of locks and security systems. Responsibilities will include programming and cutting automotive keys, as well as installing, repairing, and maintaining various locking mechanisms for residential, commercial, and automotive needs. Your expertise will play a key role in ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our clients.
Duties
- Cutting and programming keys for vehicle (experience required).
- Install, repair, and replace locks on doors, windows, and other security devices.
- Respond to emergency lockout situations promptly and professionally.
- Use specialized tools and equipment to open locks without keys when necessary.
- Conduct assessments of security needs for clients and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Maintain an inventory of locks, keys, and other related materials.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns effectively.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in locksmithing.
- Utilize an ohmmeter for testing electrical locking mechanisms as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Locksmith or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of various lock types and locking mechanisms.
- Proficiency in using locksmithing tools and equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues with locks and security systems effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction(sales).
- Valid driver's license may be required for mobile locksmith services.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 – 55 per week
