Position Summary: Develops sales plans and strategy for active and potential pursuits. Establishes close customer contact to determine customer needs, and position the Company to satisfy those needs.
Job Description:
- Targets, fosters and maintains a market leadership position within the HES (third party sales) product line. Functions as the liaison with the Basin locations with a focus to strategically grow the HES business, enabled by technology, and develops the required commercial/technical models, procedures and processes
Enhances existing and implements new business models that derive maximum benefit based on value - Functions as custodian of the product line with respect to product specific standard offerings and commercial applications (including price list, catalog validation, E-catalog maintenance and part number integrity). Routinely audits existing product lines and recommend product obsolescence and/or rationalization where applicable
- Champions the Technology Watch for the assigned areas of business, which includes definition of client needs, monitoring of competition (market share and new product introductions) and identification of new technology acquisition opportunities
Identifies and develops key service and optimization opportunities for the assigned areas of business. Leverages other existing products and services from the Surface Production Systems Portfolio. - Provides technical support for existing products and services
- Understands the market from a client perspective by engaging the Basin’s.
- Identifies key customers and establish relationships as appropriate, either directly (in case of new technology/processes) or in cooperation with Basin
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Five (5) years in the field or related field
- Preferred Oil & Gas related experience
- Excellent verbal and analytical skills
- Travel 50-60% of the time to visit customers and attend trade shows.
- Demonstrated sales track record in current role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage, grow and retain key accounts.
