Job Description
Candidates shall be responsible for assisting and supporting the project management team in the overall coordination of the project planning, construction, and scheduling and their management of the field superintendent, subcontractors, suppliers, and laborers.
Specific Duties of a Titan Assistant Project Manager include:
- Review of Plans and Specifications to understand the scope of the project.
- Assist the the Project Manager in the development of detailed Scopes of Work and preparation of rack ups to be used in the negotiations with the vendor or supplier.
- Assist the Project Manager in establishing lead times on all materials to ensure timely execution by the subcontractors.
- Assist the Project Manager in the researching of alternatives/substitutes in the case where lead times may impact schedule or provide more cost effective solutions.
- Assist in the development of the project's Bill of Assembly(detailed cost estimate by building system).
- Assist in the processing of Purchase Order and Contracts and assembly of all necessary exhibits and attachments to ensure that the PO and Contract is complete.
- Update the Project Schedule as developed by the Project Manager and the Field Superintendent on a weekly basis and distribute as required.
- Assist in the administration of all subcontract requirements and submittals to ensure compliance of all contract requirements, including maintenance of the submittal log.
- Upload and maintenance of all information onto the company cloud based share file system for use by Titan's field staff and design team.
- Maintain and distribute meeting minutes for the Project and Field meetings.
- Review of all Subcontractor/Vendor invoices and requisitions to ensure that the billings are consistent with Subcontractor/Vendor contracts and immediately notify Project Manager and Accounting Staff of any discrepancies.
- Assist Accounting Staff to ensure that all contract and insurance requirements are met and maintained.
- Assist in the project requisition process with the assembly of the necessary information from the subcontractors/vendors for the Accounting Staff.
- BE THE PROJECT MANAGER'S RIGHT HAND TO ENSURE THAT THEY MEET THEIR OBJECTIVES AND THE PROJECT'S OBJECTIVES!!
Requirements:
Organizational, time management, and follow up skills are the most important in the success of a Titan Assistant Project Manager. Experience in construction or a degree in architecture or engineering are required. Other specific requirements:
- 2 Year degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative assistant or Assistant Project Manager duties.
- Knowledge of industry standard construction terminology a must.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
