We are hiring non-union Security Shift Supervisors to work at several commercial office building in the Chicago Loop. This is a day shift must be able to hold over 4 hours if needed and must be available to work weekends. ***MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE MANAGING A SECURITY TEAM IN A COMMERCIAL OFFICE BUILDING!***

Responsibilities
Responsibilities of Security Supervisors include but are not limited to:
- Supervise the day to day operations of an assigned Client site, including working as a security officer if needed
- Manage a team of security officers, including participating in hiring, scheduling, payroll, training and development, coaching and discipline, and support.
- Ensure client and employee satisfaction through building effective relationships and proactive communications and management
- Complete operational procedures, including reviewing logs, shift responsibilities, patrol round information, and reporting, and update as needed
- Handle escalated security issues or emergencies
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications of Security Supervisors:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 3 years of experience as a security officer or directly related position and at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including state accredited training requirements.
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
- Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50 lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather
- Bi-lingual considered a plus.
- $20.00 - $21.00 / hour
