Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced HR Generalist / Payroll Specialist to support human resources functions, with a strong focus on payroll and benefits administration. This role ensures compliance with payroll regulations, maintains accurate records, and assists with various HR responsibilities to support company personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing: Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing while maintaining compliance with IRS regulations. Manage employee records, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Timesheet Management: Track employee timesheets, document time off, and monitor overtime.
- Benefits Administration: Oversee employee benefit enrollment, contributions, and administrative requests while maintaining accurate records and assisting with annual audits.
- HR Accounting Support: Generate invoices, maintain reports, and assist with financial processes related to the HR department.
- HR Compliance & Development: Stay updated on HR policies, attend seminars and workshops, and ensure best practices are followed.
- Additional HR Duties: Provide general HR support and take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the HR Manager.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources, payroll, or benefits administration.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience with payroll and benefits administration software is required.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) preferred.
Salary : $55,000 - $60,000
