As a Traffic Control Supervisor, you are responsible for ensuring safe, courteous, and authoritative directions to traffic seeking passage through work zones. You will also be actively involved in designing or setting up and maintaining temporary traffic control in work zones, in addition to supervising the Traffic Control Specialists and Technicians in the placement of barricades, sign boards, traffic cones, and flagging.

• 1 - 3 years’ experience, preferred
• Valid driver’s license, required
• ATTSA Traffic Control Supervisor Certified, preferred
• ATTSA Traffic Control Technician Certified, required
• ATTSA Flagger Certified, required
• Must be available to work any shift
• The ability to travel up to 25% of the time, including overnight(s)

Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Supervising Traffic Control Specialists and Technicians to ensure safe and proper traffic control
• Maintaining the flow of traffic around the construction sites
• Closing the lanes in case of emergency and maintenance work
• Implementing traffic control plans and techniques for installation and removal
• Contacting team members about the traffic concerns if any
• Informing the Construction Workers regarding any traffic issues
• Communicating efficiently and effectively
