Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Asset Management Analyst. In this role, you will support the Asset Management team in overseeing and optimizing the performance of our multifamily real estate portfolio. You will play a crucial part in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, assisting in the development of strategies to maximize the value of our assets, and tracking construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for the multifamily portfolio.
- Analyze property performance data, including occupancy rates, rental income, and operating expenses.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support investment decisions.
- Collaborate with property management teams to ensure the effective implementation of asset management strategies.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in the due diligence process for new acquisitions and dispositions.
- Support the development and execution of value-add initiatives and capital improvement projects.
- Track and report on construction project timelines, budgets, and milestones.
- Submit regular updates to our lenders on construction projects, including milestones and progress reports, and manage the process of drawing down on funds held with the lender.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards for construction projects.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
- Detail-oriented with strong time management, written/verbal communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when necessary.
- Interest in the real estate industry and a desire to grow within the field.
