Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our team as an Investment and Asset Management Intern in our Alpharetta, GA office. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both the investment analysis and asset management aspects of the real estate industry. The selected candidate will work closely with our experienced professionals on a wide range of projects, providing valuable support in evaluating investment opportunities, conducting market research, and optimizing asset performance.
What You Will Do:
- Assist in conducting financial analysis, including cash flow modeling, investment valuation, and sensitivity analysis for potential real estate acquisitions.
- Research and analyze market trends, demographic data, and competitive landscapes to identify attractive investment opportunities and market dynamics.
- Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting key investment metrics and recommendations.
- Support the asset management team in monitoring property performance, analyzing operating budgets, and implementing value-enhancing strategies to optimize returns.
- Collaborate with Investment, Asset Management, and Property Management teams to ensure seamless execution of investment strategies.
- Participate in property site visits, due diligence processes, and meetings with third-party consultants, brokers, and other industry professionals.
- Assist in ad-hoc projects and assignments as needed, contributing to the overall success of the investment and asset management functions.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in finance, real estate, economics, or a related field (Class of 2026 preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets to extract meaningful insights.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Demonstrated interest in real estate investment, asset management, or finance, with prior internship or coursework experience preferred.
- Proactive self-starter with the ability to multitask, prioritize assignments, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software applications.
