As part of our growth strategy, we have incorporated machining and fabrication capabilities into our service portfolio so we can deliver a complete production solutions to our customers.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Skilled at Manual machining-
· Set-up, program, and operate production jobs including both Manual and CNC.
Haas and Okuma
· Train machine operators for production jobs including quality control.
· Skilled at reading mechanical drawings– SolidWorks experience is a bonus.
· Be able to understand and debug tooling.
· Knowledge of basic material properties
· Can perform quality checks and first article work.
· Use and Operate tools to aid in the manufacturing process.
· Perform periodic checks on equipment.
· Keep up to date on the latest machining technology.
· Maintain an organized and clean work area.
· Able to multitask in a production environment.
Required Qualifications:
· Machinist certificate or equivalent work experience
· Manual machining both mill and lathe
· Can program CNC equipment.
· Familiar with SolidWorks CAD
· Good work ethic and attendance
· Willing to learn.
· Attention to detail and takes pride in one’s work.
· Aptitude for math, problem-solving, computers, and mechanics.
· Ability to work and communicate well with others.
· Proficiency with hand tools.
· The ability to regularly lift at least 50 LBS or more.
· The ability to multitask and willingness to perform highly repetitive production work.
