Title: Title Officer / Examiner
Number of Positions: 1 (Permanent)
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
The Title Officer / Examiner will report to management in regard to the daily tasks needed. The candidate for this positon should possess a detail-oriented mindset and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This position requires strong attention to detail, interpersonal and focusing skills. This person should have the ability to multi-task while maintaining an upbeat and professional demeanor and needs to have the skills to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented atmosphere. Attention to detail is a must.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- (5) Years Minimum Experience in the Industry
- Prepare and review title commitments, title policies, and other encumbrances
- Conduct thorough title searches, examine public records, and analyze documents to determine ownership, liens, and other encumbrances
- Cooridinate with customers, attorneys, lenders, real estate agents involved in the closing process
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of transactions
- Efficiency – Good Work Ethic, Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Pay attention to detail
- Good communication skills; verbal and written
- Examine and Verify Title and Real Estate Records
- Summarize Legal and Insurance Documents
- Produce neat and well-presented work
- Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines.
- Knowledge of computer software and computer skills, including quick typing ability
- Examine documents for completeness, accuracy, or conformance to standards
- Calculate premiums using insurance rates standards
- Maintain records, reports, and/or files
- Copy, Fax, Email send out
- Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information
- File all folder information in electronic Greenfolders program
- Customer Service – Excellent communication and customer service skills, including greeting of customers
- Phone Calls – Assist in receiving incoming calls and ensure questions and needs are directed to appropriate person
- Assist Customer Service & Title Officer Backup (As Needed)
- Other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $33.00 per hour
