Titletown Manufacturing is currently in search of an Accounting Specialist.
This position entails managing the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections, payroll, perpetual inventory integrity, fixed asset records, general & entity accounting, cost accounting, etc. This person also performs all company specific month end and year end tasks such as closing, budgeting, forecasting, income statement and balance sheet analysis. The person in this position participates in the company’s auditing efforts. This includes all financial and inventory by collecting required documentation and physical audit counts through the ERP.
Responsibilities:
- Invoice payment: Including verifying data, scheduling, and issuing payments.
- Receive payments: Including verifying data, calculating charges and refunds, preparing, and sending out invoices.
- Biweekly payroll
- Audit labor hours to job codes to ensure labor is billed accurately to each job code.
- Prepare financial reports after collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
- Reconciliation of statements and transactions.
- Customer service resolution.
- Investigation and resolution of any account discrepancies.
- Maintenance of financial records.
- Clear, concise, and professional communication, both written and verbal, with co-workers, vendors, and customers to collect necessary information.
- Mail sorting and distribution.
- Assist the management team, as needed, with projects as they arise, as well as assisting in improving processes and procedures to improve efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, and payroll processing.
- Knowledge of federal and state tax compliance.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficient in QuickBooks, Excel, and other accounting software.
- Previous experience with JobBOSS is preferred, but not required.
- Previous experience in the Manufacturing Industry is preferred, but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is a plus.
The pay range for this position is dependent on qualifications, with bonus pay available. Work in a climate-controlled facility with benefits including a 401(k) with employer match, quarterly profit sharing and paid time off. We offer health insurance with a built-in HRA, dental insurance and vision insurance.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM with optional overtime as available. Paid breaks during every shift.
