PRIMARY FUNCTION : The purpose of the Business Intelligence (BI) Developer role is to assist in the design, development, and implementation of business intelligence solutions. The developer will support the Subject Matter Experts in data analysis, report generation, and maintenance of BI systems to help the organization make data-driven decisions. Additionally, the developer will perform IT duties to support the local facility.
DUTIES / PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions. Examples of BI solutions include :
- Dashboards : Interactive visual displays of key metrics and performance indicators.
- Reports : Detailed documents that provide insights into specific areas of the business.
- Data Warehousing : Centralized storage of large volumes of data from various sources.
- Data Visualization : Using tools like charts, graphs, and maps to represent data visually.
- Work with the Subject Matter Experts to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Develop data queries and reports based on business needs.
- Develop data warehouses and connections to existing data sources.
- Conduct data quality checks and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Provide technical support for hardware and software issues at the local facility.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to IT systems, desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their data needs and provide appropriate analytics solutions.
- Ensure the security and integrity of data within business intelligence systems and the local network.
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and manage asset tracking.
- Provide training and support to end-users on business intelligence tools, IT systems, and software.
- Document processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to project planning and execution.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
- Assist in any other needed tasks when applicable.
- Perform all job duties as defined in the Titus Precision Quality Management System, Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions.
