Position Summary
The HR assistant assists in planning, organizing, and coordinating Human Resources activities. The HR assistant provides administrative support in the areas of hiring/talent acquisition, onboarding new employees, employee records management, telephone and customer-facing inquiries, and assists with employee benefits, employee safety, special projects, and employee events.
Essential Functions
-Assists in the recruiting process including statusing job requests, job offers and job candidates through the human capital management system (HCMS).
-Assists in scheduling interviews and meetings.
-Schedules and conducts candidate onboardings as needed.
-Assists with new employee orientation.
-Assists with employee benefits enrollments and dependent verifications
-Uploads employee and candidate documents into the HCMS
-Enters timely and accurate employee status changes, transactions and data into the HCMS
-Maintains electronic and hard files for current and terminated employees.
-Assists with maintaining updated licensure report for all departments and uploads renewed licenses into the HCMS.
-Assists with The Joint Commission, I-9, ADA and FMLA compliance.
-Maintains records for all agency and contract personnel.
-Answers multi-line telephone, routing calls and follows up on inquiries.
-Generates system access requests for users.
-Prepares and prints identification badges and uploads photos to the HCMS.
-Assists with ensuring accurate and current records are submitted for the TRMC phone directory, in partnership with IT.
-Maintains the necessary supplies for the human resources department.
