What are the responsibilities and job description for the Box Office Coordinator position at Tivoli Theatre Foundation?

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manages, hires, trains, schedules, and supervises box office staff and oversees daily box office operations
  • Show day box office management- sending sold maps, guest lists, preliminary audits, etc.
  • Ensures Box Office department delivers exceptional customer service to all guests
  • Assists Ticketing Manager in all aspects of Broadway subscription sales
  • Assists with customer lists for events and marketing
  • Oversees box office receipts and cash drawer reconciliation
  • Processes complimentary ticket orders for media partners, staff and sponsors
  • Assists Ticketing Manager is assessing hold inventory
  • Proofing and verifying all event info for on-sales
  • Works with Community Engagement department on fulfilling group sales and comps

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Ticketing systems such as Ticketmaster/Archtics or similar ticketing experience preferred
  • Prior experience with managing season ticket and other premium offers preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays required
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Proficient computer skills
  • 2 or more years of related management experience preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and adjust to rapidly changing business conditions
  • Ability to work independently and effectively

Please Note:

  • Days/Hours: Primarily Monday-Friday 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM, and show days as needed.
  • Variable schedule including daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday hours.
  • Position Type: Full-time hourly with potential for salary; hourly rate based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.96 - $20.42 per hour

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person

Salary : $17 - $20
