We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Generalist and Recruiter to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process while also handling various HR functions, including benefits enrollment, compliance, and performance management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices and talent acquisition, ensuring that our company attracts, hires, and retains top talent while fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring top talent.
- Post job openings on various platforms, and manage applicant tracking systems.
- Conduct initial interviews and coordinate interview schedules with managers.
- Maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
- Develop succession plans.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs and job requirements.
- Source and identify potential candidates through various methods including networking, job boards, social media, and referrals.
- Contribute to the development of recruitment strategies to attract diverse talent.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in recruitment.
- Conduct reference checks and background verifications.
- Maintain and update candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Provide timely feedback to candidates regarding their application status.
- Oversee employer branding initiatives to enhance recruitment efforts.
- Coordinate with local staffing firms for temp-to-hire labor.
- Facilitate new hire orientation and new hire paperwork.
- Seek feedback from Managers and new employees to ensure successful onboarding.
HR Generalist Functions:
- Assist with employee onboarding, orientation, and training programs.
- Manage HR policies, ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Handle employee issues, mediate conflicts, and support performance management processes.
- Assist in benefits enrollment, payroll coordination, and leave management.
- Maintain and update HR records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover trends to improve retention strategies.
- Provide guidance and support on company policies, procedures, and best practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 4 years of experience in HR, recruitment, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and recruiting techniques.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS software.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to travel by auto in a radius of 200 miles of Sioux Falls, SD
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $59,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
