We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the medical field by conducting various laboratory tests to help diagnose, treat, and prevent diseases.
Duties
- Perform laboratory tests including immunoassays, blood banking, and other assays
- Conduct specimen collection processing and analysis
- Utilize laboratory techniques to analyze samples accurately
- Maintain and operate laboratory equipment
- Follow standard laboratory procedures and protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate test results
- Document and analyze test results for accuracy and completeness
Experience
- Proficiency in Blood Bank laboratory procedures and techniques
- Strong data analysis skills for interpreting test results
- Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Experience working in a research laboratory setting is a plus
- Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and quality control measures
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
