Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Social Worker to join our Behavioral Health team at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA. The ideal candidate will provide social work services to patients, offering assessment, counseling, and support in a hospital setting. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position with no weekend or call requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group therapy as needed
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate care for patients
- Offer crisis intervention and support during hospital stays
- Assist in discharge planning and community referrals
- Document patient progress and treatment goals
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW)
- Licensed Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Massachusetts
- Previous experience in a hospital or behavioral health setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
