Job Summary
The Telemetry Technician will be responsible for monitoring patients' vital signs and telemetry readings in a healthcare setting, providing crucial information for patient care and treatment.
Duties
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and telemetry readings
- Recognize and report any irregularities or changes in patients' conditions
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure timely and accurate patient care
- Document and maintain accurate records of telemetry readings
- Assist with diagnostic evaluations such as cardiac catheterization and sonography
- Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals
- Apply aseptic techniques in handling equipment and interacting with patients
- Work in a Level I Trauma Center environment, supporting patient care
Qualifications
- Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- Knowledge of cardiac physiology and anatomy
- Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and interpretation
- Experience working in a lab setting is beneficial
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to cardiology
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Certification or training in telemetry monitoring is preferred

Pay: $16.99 - $20.00 per hour
