We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Environmental Graphic Designer to join our team. This role is perfect for an individual passionate about design and spatial aesthetics, with experience in creating impactful environmental and experiential graphics. As part of our growing company, you will play a key role in transforming spaces, environments, and experiences through compelling graphic design solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Environmental Design Creation: Design large-scale, site-specific environmental graphics, signage, and solutions that enhance physical spaces, engage audiences, and reflect brand identity.
- Design Software Proficiency: Utilize CorelDRAW, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software to develop custom graphics for a variety of mediums, including vinyl, metal, plastic, and acrylic signage.
- Collaboration: Work closely with architects, interior designers, project managers, and clients to ensure that designs meet functional, aesthetic, and environmental requirements.
- Spatial Awareness & Conceptualization: Conceptualize and execute designs that complement and elevate physical spaces, creating cohesive experiences through signage, murals, digital displays, and other environmental graphic elements.
- File Preparation & Execution: Prepare and optimize artwork for production, including laser cutting, engraving, printing, and installation.
- Quality Control: Oversee the production process and ensure that the final output meets design specifications and high-quality standards.
- Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients on design revisions and offer creative solutions to meet their needs and goals.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project specifications, budget, and client expectations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Environmental Graphic Designer or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing relevant design work for physical spaces or signage projects.
- Strong proficiency in CorelDRAW and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
- Knowledge of large-scale printing, laser cutting, engraving, and other production processes.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage complex design projects while maintaining creativity and quality.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team and clients to bring design visions to life.
- A positive, proactive attitude with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in environmental or experiential design, particularly within the signage or architectural design fields.
- Understanding of materials, construction techniques, and finishes, including metal, wood, acrylic, and vinyl.
- Familiarity with installation processes and working with third-party contractors.
- Ability to adapt to new design tools and software as needed.
