We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our dynamic orthodontic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing patient treatment plans, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience from initial consultation to treatment completion. This position requires a bilingual individual with exceptional organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and experience in dental or orthodontic settings
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient treatment plans by collaborating with dental providers and patients to ensure clarity and understanding of procedures.
- Utilize internal software for scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and managing treatment documentation.
- Ability to present treatment plans and associated fees in a clear, professional, and concise manner.
- Conduct insurance verification to confirm coverage and benefits for patients prior to treatment.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations during all patient interactions.
- Manage phone systems effectively, addressing inquiries from patients regarding treatments, insurance, and scheduling.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment that promotes patient comfort and safety.
- Provide support in the orthodontic office setting by assisting with administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an orthodontic or dental office is preferred, with a strong understanding of tasks and procedures relevant to the practice.
- Electronic health record systems are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of dental/orthodontic coding principles and insurance verification processes is essential.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with patients and staff.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinic environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong mathematical skills are essential for this position
- Experience with phone systems and customer service is advantageous.
