Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Newborn Care Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to a family that is expecting their 3rd child. This position requires a nurturing personality, strong communication skills. The Newborn Care Specialist will work closely with the families newborn during the daytime hour.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and compassionate care to children that includes but is not limited to, bottle feedings, diaper changes, implementing sleep routines etc.
- Support the babies development through engaging activities that foster learning and growth.
- Maintain a clean and organized nursery.
- Collaborate with parents to maintain and provide exceptional care
- Monitor children's progress and report any concerns regarding their health or behavior.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and safe sleep.
Experience
Candidates should possess experience or knowledge in the following areas:
- CPR/First aid certification is required
- Previous extensive experience in newborn care
- Familiarity with working with newborns and their families in a private home
Schedule
This position will start approx January 2nd- May 31st, 2025
Hours are Mon-Fri 9a-6pm
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 per week
