We are currently seeking a collaborative, results oriented professional to join our organization in the Portland office as an Accounting Manager. At TLR, we believe in doing anything to become the most loved and trusted provider of international services and finding team members that will help foster that vision is paramount to our success.
This position will be leading our Accounting and Admin teams.
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following :
- Ensures accuracy and validity of all financial transactions of the company.
- Oversees the Accounting and Administration Department.
- Manages payroll functions; processed twice a month.
- Supports and champions the mission, vision and values of the organization.
- Handles all banking transactions, including wires, transfers and reporting.
- Performs monthly bank reconciliations.
- Tends to issues that have been escalated and higher-level decisions.
- Drafts and delivers performance evaluations to staff.
- Prepares and post journal entries.
- Provides financial information to management and board of directors as requested.
- Work with team to prepare monthly financial statements.
- Handles tax payments, workers comp registers and wage reports.
- Completes monthly reconciliation of health and other insurance billings and 401(k) records.
- Organizes and manages file storage and record retention.
- Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance.
