Under the direction of the Quality Manager, The Quality Engineer is responsible for internal, supplier, and customer quality activities to ensure the continuous improvement of processes and product quality. This role focuses on collaboration with internal teams and suppliers to maintain high-quality standards.

As a Quality Engineer, you will :

  • Supplier & Customer Quality Management

Review and process supplier PPAPs; create and submit customer PPAPs.

  • Participate in Supplier Audits and work with suppliers to resolve quality issues.
  • Assist with internal and external corrective actions, working with external parties in investigation, disposition, and resolution.
  • Quality Support for Production
  • Provide quality assurance support for production and inspection operations.

  • Work cross-functionally to resolve quality issues related to assigned products and / or processes.
  • Update and maintain Process Flow Diagrams, FMEAs, and Process Control Plans.
  • Continuous Improvement & Process Excellence
  • Apply Six Sigma principles; participate in related activities.

  • Champion the Gage R&R and Equipment Verification process (internal calibration).
  • Conduct CpK analysis and participate in Root Cause analysis, FMEA’s, Control Plans, and other quality activities.
  • Product Development & Support
  • Support new product launches, scale-ups, and continuous improvements through production lines installation and qualification.

  • Identify and resolve design constraints with both internal and external resources.
  • Lead 1-2 continuous improvement initiatives annually.
  • Maintain cell dashboards, quality reporting, and suggest areas for improvement.
  • Inspection and Testing
  • Investigate and contain quality concerns, including inspecting, testing, and potentially sorting material.

    Requirements :

    Education and / or Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Quality Assurance / Control, Business Management, or related field, or equivalent work experience in a quality-related role.
  • Firm understanding of ISO 9000 and IATF 16949 standards.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong working knowledge of manufacturing equipment.
  • Experience in product manufacturing, inspection, and testing.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred.
