Key Responsibilities:- Analyze the Phoenix II, web service, and batch business applications
- Take the lead in analyzing and troubleshooting assigned system problems
- Analyze new requirements and regulations
- Propose solutions and develop technical specifications in response to business requirements
- Code, test, promote, and interact with impacted users ensuring that solution meets requirements
- Provide daily and weekly status to the development manager
- 12 years of experience or minimum 14 years related experience
- Working knowledge of driver laws, rules, and regulations including credentials, suspensions, violations, financial responsibility, parole, probation, and pardons (PPP) driver support
- Direct knowledge of American Association of Motor Vehicles Administrators (AAMVA) commercial and non-commercial driver processing including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act (FMCSA) mandates, Commercial Driver License Information System (CDLIS) interface processing, and Personal Driver Pointer System (PDPS) interface processing
- Current and relevant COBOL development with MicroFocus Visual COBOL using Visual Studio 2019 in Windows Server 2019 under IIS
- Application programming against RDBMS (Oracle, SQL)
- SQL for Oracle DB
- Microsoft Windows web service design and implementation
- Enterprise multi-tier system design and architecture
- Production troubleshooting support experience
- Bachelor's degree in information technology preferred
