We are currently seeking a Power BI Conversion Specialist to join our team in Richmond, VA. This position offers a 50% remote work arrangement (will be onsite for 2 weeks per month).Key Responsibilities:
- Convert existing Cognos reports to Power BI, ensuring that the new reports match the look, feel, and functionality of the original reports
- Implement data-level security mechanisms in Power BI reports, if defined in the Cognos reports
- Ensure seamless integration with existing data sources, including databases and data warehouses
- Enable real-time data access and updates in Power BI, similar to the current Cognos setup
- Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance, with fast load times and responsiveness
- Experience with:
- Cognos reporting and transformer cube
- Power BI dashboarding
The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $100,000. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications.
