What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Support Specialist position at TMC TECHNOLOGIES?
The Administrative Support Specialist will support the Solutions and Proposal Department of TMC Technologies as well as the overall TMC Headquarters. The individual working in this role will be responsible for writing clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation, as well as managing documentation processes and supporting various department heads.
Essential Functions
- Assist TMC’s departments by contributing to writing, editing and formatting technical documents
- Assists with the administration of TMC’s website. Maintains and updates website with relevant content, including news, announcements, and service offerings.
- Assists with the administration of the TMC’s SharePoint to ensure document organization, access control, and collaboration efficiency.
- Assists in streamlining business processes and maintaining documentation for corporate functions.
- Works closely with Subject Matter Experts (SME)s to gather information to ensure documents are accurate and accessible.
- Review documents, memos, news releases for grammar, style, accuracy, and consistency with company standards.
- Ensure documentation complies with regulatory requirements and industry standards when necessary.
- Organize and maintain internal documentation repositories, ensuring all materials are up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Ensure that all documentation follows established style guides, templates, and company standards.
- Work with internal teams to enhance content presentation and user experience
Job Requirements:
Associates Degree in Technical writing, journalism, or professional writing preferred.- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, TEAMS)
Preferred Qualifications/Skills
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Adaptable to changing priorities and able to handle multiple tasks.
