This position serves as both the Engineer of Record and sits in the Operations seat of the EOS model, leading the engineering function with clarity, integrity, and urgency.
Leadership & Accountability
- LMA: Lead, Manage, and hold engineers accountable to outcomes, not just hours.
- Approve all technical deliverables, ensuring compliant, buildable, and smart solutions.
- Oversee engineering QA/QC processes and drive operational excellence with a fast-paced, no-drama, results-first mentality.
- Lead by example—set a high bar and bring others up to it. No micromanaging, just clarity and accountability.
Training & Development
- Train engineers and CAD staff with both technical skill and professional discipline.
- Build internal knowledge so that the team becomes self-sustaining—every engineer should get better under your leadership.
- Create and maintain a learning culture—training isn’t optional, it’s strategic.
Technical Oversight & Liaison
- Oversee all design work across civil and transportation engineering projects (aviation, roadway, infrastructure, land development).
- Serve as the technical liaison between the company and their clients, municipalities, contractors, and subs.
- Interpret regulations, secure approvals, and maintain compliance without compromising timeline or budget.
Strategic Impact
- Help shape engineering vision as we scale.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Alabama-licensed Professional Engineer in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 12 years of progressive civil/transportation engineering experience, including QA/QC and stamping responsibilities
- Demonstrated leadership in managing teams, project delivery, and technical excellence
- Strong alignment with values: Excellence, Accountability, Integrity, and Urgency
- Comfortable operating in an EOS environment with defined roles, rocks, and L10 meetings
Salary : $145,000 - $180,000
