Responsibilities
The purpose of this position is to provide services to meet the social and/or emotional needs that affect the residents’ ability to achieve their highest level of function; participate in the development of residents’ comprehensive care plans; develop policies and procedures to provide social services to residents in compliance with federal, state and local regulations. .
Qualifications
Qualifications: A BS or MS in Social Work preferred but would consider non-degreed candidates with SW experience in a Skilled Nursing or Long Term Care setting. RNs and LPNs with SW experience in an eldercare setting are encouraged to apply.
Experience:
- SNF or LTC: 1 year (Preferred)
- Social Work: 1 year (Preferred)
