What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admissions Assistant position at TN Professional Training Institute?
We are looking for an outgoing, efficient, HIGHLY organized, professional and responsible person to join our team! This person must have some college and/or a college degree, a GREAT attitude and be able to work in a fast-paced educational environment with potential students, current students, graduates, the administrative team as well as numerous higher educational entities.
Some skills required:
- Attention to detail is a must
- Positive and encouraging attitude
- Excellent communication skills (including grammar)
- Proficient in Office 365, QuickBooks and some Excel
- Must be able to answer and respond to calls, walk-ins, emails and social media messages in a professional and timely manner
- Highly organized
- Data entry and filing
- Must be able to create and follow processes
- Excellent follow through skills
Some job responsibilities include:
- Maintaining accurate and complete student records (electronic and paper)
- Helping the team with the daily activities of the school and special projects
- Giving school tours, helping with admissions and enrollment
- Light bookkeeping and account management
- Record keeping and file management
- Student externships
- Faculty support
- Graduation, student and career services support
Potential schedule includes 35- 40 hours, Monday - Friday (with some flexibility on schedule)
