What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assisting Instructor - Full Time position at TN Professional Training Institute?
We are looking to add to our team of highly trained, experienced Medical Assisting Instructors! TN Professional Training Institute offers small classes, hands on learning and individual student support to help our students become capable and confident in their chosen field of study. Instructors must have at least three years of medical assisting experience and be organized, encouraging and willing and able to communicate the curriculum as well as teach the clinical skills needed for the career. Topics included but not limited to are: phlebotomy, ekg tech, vitals, patient records, anatomy & physiology, body systems, administrative tasks, sterilization, OSHA, minor procedures, etc. The curriculum is established and the instructor will be responsible for preparing for class, teaching the material, administering tests and assessments, recording grades, preparing the students for the responsibilities of the medical assistant. The class is 40 hours per week, Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
