Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Hardscape Crew Lead to supervise and coordinate hardscape installation projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines. This role involves leading a team of skilled laborers and collaborating with clients, vendors, and other trades to deliver exceptional outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate should have experience in hardscaping, strong leadership skills, and a dedication to safety and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a crew of hardscape workers, ensuring work is performed to specifications and industry standards.
- Review project plans, blueprints, and drawings to ensure accurate execution of hardscaping projects.
- Ensure all team members are following safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized worksite.
- Oversee the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, outdoor kitchens, fire pits, and other hardscape features.
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure materials are ordered and available, and work is completed on schedule.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of materials, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
- Maintain and troubleshoot tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.
- Review and sign off on work completed by crew members to ensure quality control.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in landscape or hardscape construction preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is benificial
- Strong knowledge of hardscape materials, tools, equipment, and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design plans.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide crew members.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Ability to lift heavy materials, work in various weather conditions, and maintain physical stamina.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
- Ability to stand, bend, and squat for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and rain.
Salary : $25 - $32
