We are looking for a high energy, self-motivated, and customer focused individual to join us as our Retail Store Manager of the TNT Fireworks/Fireworks Outlet Supercenter in Tanner AL. Responsibilities
- Achieve growth and hit monthly sales targets by successfully managing sales staff and networking in community
- Recruit and train part time and seasonal sales staff and team leads
- Set daily sales and weekly goals for staff
- Create and track sales contests that are used as motivational tools to drive sales performance among staff
- Plan and direct sales team training
- Evaluate performance of sales staff
- Provide feedback, support, and coaching to the sales staff
- Work with other company functions to ensure achievement of sales goals
- Provide weekly and monthly sales performance feedback to management
- Schedule sales staff based on historical sales performance
- Analyze data to uncover trends in sales and product movement
- Oversee the general day to day operations of a retail store i.e. Cash management, Inventory Control, Merchandising
Requirements
- 3 years of Retail Management experience and 5 years of overall retail experience
- Experience in hiring and managing a sales team with a proven track record of results
- Must possess a solid understanding of the sales process
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Organized
- Stress tolerance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
- Strong decision-making ability
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Criminal and Credit Background Check required
- Drug Test required
